Arundhati is a 2009 Indian Tamil dark fantasy horror film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna with creative direction of Rahul Nambiar and written by Chintapalli Ramana, starring Anushka Shetty, Sonu Sood, Arjan Bajwa, Manorama and Sayaji Shinde. The film was released on 16 January 2009 to positive reviews and emerged as a commercial success.

The film revolves around Arundhati, a descendant of a royal family who learns that she looks like her great-grandmother, Jejamma, who was revered as a goddess for her bravery and benevolence. Arundhati also discovers that Jejamma's arch-enemy, a black magician named Pasupathi, has reincarnated and is after her life. Arundhati must face Pasupathi and his evil forces with the help of her loyal servant Rudra and a mysterious weapon that belonged to Jejamma.

The film is known for its stunning visual effects, elaborate sets, costumes and makeup. Anushka Shetty's performance as the dual role of Arundhati and Jejamma was widely praised and earned her several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress Telugu.
